Mothers Union

The Mothers’ Union is a Christian organisation which promotes the well-being of families worldwide.

In the Ellesmere Branch of the Mothers Union we have a lively, friendly fellowship. As well as having an interesting programme of speakers, trips and social events, we are involved in a number of local projects, for example providing toiletries for women in a local Women’s Refuge, making story sacks for a local playgroup, and knitting for premature babies.

We meet on the second Monday of each month in St John’s Room at 2.00 pm.

You do not have to be a mother to be a member of Mothers Union, as membership is open to anyone (male or female) who has been baptised in the name of the Holy Trinity.
