We did not have a meeting in December, but we did have our Christmas Party on Monday, 13 December at La Belle Vie. I hope that everyone enjoyed the evening as much as I did and I would like to thank Connie Mason for all her hard work as the main organiser of this very pleasant occasion.

Our programme for next year is now available and for the first time this includes details of evening meetings as well as afternoon meetings. The next afternoon meeting will be on 17 January at 2.00pm at the Town Hall when the speaker will be John Field who will be talking about the history of the Oswestry Christian Bookshop.

The first evening meeting of the New Year will be a social evening with drinks and nibbles on Thursday, 20 January in St John's Room at 7.30 pm.

Mothers' Union subscriptions for next year will be £15. As we have to collect and pay these over by February, it would be very helpful if members could bring their money to the January meeting.
